AWTA has recently updated the&nbsp;digital signature on eCerts to conform with industry best-practice.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To authenticate AWTA eCerts users must, when prompted, accept (or \u201ctrust\u201d) the digital certificate that is embedded within the eCert. If this is not done, an error message will be displayed.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/app\/images\/images\/News\/Certificate_Unknown.jpg\" alt=\"Certificate Unknown\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If you are currently seeing an error message on AWTA eCerts, you can fix it by following the instructions in the Fact Sheet <a href=\"index.php\/en\/resources\/fact-sheets\/fact-sheet-digital-security-of-electronic-certificates\/download\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Once you have done this, you should see the following security message.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/app\/images\/images\/News\/Certificate_Valid.jpg\" alt=\"Certificate Valid\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If you encounter a document validity error message later&nbsp;it may be because the certificate you are viewing is not legitimate.&nbsp; To check it, you can obtain another copy of the original certificate for comparison through the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.awtawooltesting.com.au\/index.php\/en\/services\/certificate-verification\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/www.awtawooltesting.com.au\/index.php\/en\/services\/certificate-verification\">Certificate Verification Service<\/a>&nbsp;facility&nbsp;on the AWTA Raw Wool&nbsp;website.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AWTA&nbsp; Wool Test Certificates and&nbsp;Reports that are delivered as electronic PDF documents or&nbsp;eCerts&nbsp;are digitally signed to authenticate their validi\u2026<\/p>","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"class_list":["post-2469","news","type-news","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/awtawooltesting.swim.net.au\/zh_tw\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news\/2469","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/awtawooltesting.swim.net.au\/zh_tw\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/awtawooltesting.swim.net.au\/zh_tw\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/news"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/awtawooltesting.swim.net.au\/zh_tw\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=2469"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
