The monthly comparisons of Total Lots, Bales and Weight tested for August 2024 compared with the same period last season are:
-21.1%, -20.1% and -19.7% respectively.
The progressive comparison of Total Lots, Bales and Weight tested for July 2024 to August 2024 compared with the same period last season are:
-10.6%, -9.2% and -8.8% respectively.
AWTA Ltd has tested 40.4 mkg (million kilograms) this season compared with 44.3 mkg for the equivalent period last season.
Readers should be mindful of a change in the timing of the three week sale recess this year when compared with last season. During 2023 the majority of the sale recess occured in July whilst in 2024 the majority of the three week sale recess fell in the month of August.
